One of our greatest defense mechanisms is to make fun of peope who are more successful or are getting something that we want.  It just feels good to be a little rude and dismissive.  While this behavior is juvenile and unprofessional at the end of the day it is how we all keep from just crumbling from the mixture of stress and dissappointment.  That, and scotch.  Scotch is the other reason.  We are working on our first batch of Employee Humor scotch, but we are mostly just "tasting" other brands to do "market research".  Extensive market research.  Anyway, download the damn card.
